“Titania” is a Character in William Shakespeare’s Play
“A Midsummer Night’s Dream”.
In the Play, she is the Queens of the Fairies.
‘You are my Titania!’
“These are the words I said to Lizzy Jagger when I first met her, to which she replied,
'Titania is my alter-ego’.
As a passionate historian and, lover of fairytales, I have always found
the character, Titania, to be a beautiful, magical source of
inspiration.
To that end, I had been collecting moths to afix to her hair since she is the Queen of the evening forest.
Never mind that in the end the moths did not make the final cut…
What is most important is that Maggie Norris had the perfect flower-bedecked corset and flowy long skirt.
Photographer, David White, added fairy wings to some of the images which was an added touch of genius.
The gorgeous backdrop, handpainted by Charles Broderson, was lit from behind so as to impart a glowing effect.
Hair and makeup by the talented Jerry Lopez.”
